We’re seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Archery Shop Lead to join our team. The Archery Shop Lead is responsible for inspecting, tuning, maintaining, and repairing compound bows. This role is perfect for someone with a deep love for archery, hands-on technical skills, and a strong desire to help customers elevate their performance in the field or on the range. Candidates should have a basic understanding of buying and merchandising processes, with proficiency in Excel and similar tools. We prefer a candidate who is passionate about hunting and has experience running an archery shop. As part of the interview process, you may be asked to go through the setup process for a bow. This role is based in our Las Vegas, NV office and will report to our Associate Buyer.

Perform bow setups including stringing, peep sight installation, arrow rest alignment, restringing, draw length adjustment, etc.
Tune bows for optimal performance using paper tuning, walk-back tuning, and other techniques.
Advise customers on equipment upgrades, accessories, and product care.
Manage clerical duties involved with inventory buying of archery equipment, including PO creation and documentation.
Maintain purchase orders by communicating with vendors, the warehouse, and buyers, and updating POs accordingly
Track and manage various processes, including PO discrepancies and warranties
As needed, support other departments, including Showroom, Warehouse, Marketing, and Content.
Have a wide range of knowledge of working on, diagnosing, and tuning all typical cam styles and bows
Prior experience as a bow technician or equivalent hands-on technical role in archery.
Strong attention to detail

Excel: Basic understanding of formulas and shortcuts with a desire to learn more
Experience with office tools (email, word processing, spreadsheets, calendar)
Proven ability to multi-task and interact with various team members
Prior Buying experience
Excel: Formulas, PivotTables, etc.
