The Kansas preference point system only applies to the whitetail deer draw. In order to apply for a mule deer tag in Kansas, you must first draw a whitetail deer tag. No preference point weighing occurs in the mule deer draw, and these are drawn randomly.

Go to the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks website. Then, hover your mouse over "LICENSES & PERMITS" in the upper left navigation bar and click on "Buy Licenses & Permits" at the top of the screen.
You will now be on the GO Outdoors Kansas login page. Click "Login" if you have an account already, or click on "Enroll Now!" to create your account.
Enter the following information:
Then click on "Continue (Submit)."
You've finally landed on your personal GO Outdoors Kansas account page. Now is the time to click on "Limited Draw Applications."
When the limited draw application box opens, click on "Nonresident Whitetail Either Sex Deer" and then click on "Next."
On the next pop-up box, click on "Apply For Points Only" and then click "Next."
You'll need to click on the text box at the top. And then click on "Finish & Checkout."
Here you can view your Kansas deer preference point purchase. You also have the option to round up to make a contribution to wildlife conservation in Kansas on this page. If everything looks good. Click on "Checkout Now."
Scroll down and enter your credit card information and billing address. When finished, click "Pay Now (Submit)."
That is it! You will then receive a confirmation that your purchase has been completed.
