Along with excellent deer and elk hunting, Colorado also features some great opportunities for black bear. Most tags are available over the counter and most hunters will likely carry these while deer or elk hunting. Hunters will find a huge array of terrain types and features to chase bears in making for an equally scenic and fun hunt.

Hide and skulls from bears must be presented at a CPW office within five working days from the date of harvest
