The Cache Creek zone is east of Clear Lake in primarily BLM land, with some Department of Fish and Wildlife and state land, and includes the Cache Creek wildlife area.

This is not one of the larger elk hunting zones. It’s relatively easy to find elk and the state wildlife biologist are a great resource.
