Northeast of Kim are canyons, creeks and dry farmlands that mule deer, antelope and elk reside in year-round. The majority of public land is on Comanche National Grasslands.
Mule deer are near crops, pinyon/juniper areas and steep canyons. Bull elk are very low in numbers and may be hard to find. It is difficult to gain access to private land.
