This unit is mountainous and mostly roadless. The Fourth of July Creek drainage in Clearwater County can be found here along with a few Shiras moose for hunters that hunt hard.
Bull moose in this unit are hard to hunt because of dense forests, moose that are heavily hunted by wolves and limited vantage points with good views of openings in the timber. Few bulls are available, but a chance for a 33-38” bull exists.
