Hunters take moose every year in this area. This unit has part of Rexburg and Sugar City in the east, a lot of state land in the middle and national forest land in the southeast.
This unit has a lot of moose on state land and in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest in the eastern half, but not as many in private lands to the west. Bulls average antler spreads of around 36-42”.
