This bighorn sheep hunting area is on the south side of the Salmon River and is in between the Idaho County-Valley County line and drains into the South Fork of the Salmon River.
This is a new sheep hunting area in the Salmon River Mountains. Most of it is roadless with part of it inside the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness. Some rams can be found in lightly timbered areas.
