This unit is mixed with parts of other sheep units and is open during a later-than-normal season. It also has roadless terrain in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.
The unit is open during late October when hunters have a better chance of taking mature rams. Rams will begin moving toward rutting grounds and out of the high country.
