At a Glance
This hunt district includes thousands of acres of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest along with portions of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness. The Continental Divide follows the Anaconda Mountain Range from Kurt Peak to East Pintler Peak. Sapphire Mountains form the western boundary and divides District 211 from 270.
This district offers opportunities for mature bulls, mule deer and whitetails. This is not considered a trophy destination for deer or elk, but hunters willing to put in some time and effort harvest good quality animals every year.
