This district lies adjacent to Wyoming and north of Cooke City. This district is almost entirely in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, and is remote, extremely steep mountainous country.
This district has the potential to produce a billy in the 9” range. Goats are widely scattered in this district. This district is mostly high elevation plateau above 10,000 feet. Goat populations are down.
