The Beaver East unit in Utah presents a mixed bag of experiences according to GOHUNT users. Hunters highlight the unit's challenging terrain and emphasize the need for thorough preparation and scouting due to the area's ruggedness and uneven distribution of game. The consensus suggests that seasonality plays a crucial role, with better chances observed during the early and late seasons when game movements are more predictable. Draw odds are notably competitive, indicating hunters should strategically plan applications and be prepared for a demanding hunt if drawn.
Beaver Mountains in the Fishlake National Forest and the foothills take up most of the land in this unit which is partly BLM land. Interstate 15 is the western boundary and US89 is the eastern. Hunters take several trophy-size bulls here every year. Hunting can be physically challenging in this unit.
