Located in the northeast corner of the state, this unit holds some great bulls. With good public access, good numbers of elk, and moderate terrain this unit gives hunters an enjoyable hunt.

Managed for trophy bulls, this unit offers hunters a chance at a good bull. With limited tag numbers and a large unit, hunters can be selective when choosing which bull to harvest. There is a premium tag available that allows hunting during all seasons. This area also has good public access.

Located in the corner south of Wyoming and west of Colorado, much of this unit is made up of high desert plateau terrain. Flat rolling ridges with creek drainages and valleys dividing them up. Flaming Gorge and the Green River have carved a large canyon on the south edge of the unit. Stock ponds, guzzlers, creeks, and springs are located throughout the unit.

Some of the unit is part of the Ashley National Forest with some managed by the BLM, giving great public access. There is road access on all sides of the unit with well-maintained dirt roads leading to less-maintained four-wheel-drive roads or ATV trails.

Low elevations have grass, sagebrush, pinyon pines, and junipers that continue through middle elevations. There are some cottonwoods along the river and streams and patches of conifers on some of the steeper slopes at higher elevations.

Most hunters camp along roads, there are several locations that have good, flat camping locations for travel trailers or tents. There are also a couple of designated campgrounds open to the public. Manila is the nearest town that has lodging and services.
