This area can be found in the northeastern part of the state northeast of Gillette. Made up of the high plains desert, this unit has a mix of private land with small amounts of BLM and state land. Good amounts of antelope can be found here but the best odds for success will generally be found on private lands

This hunt area has poor general access to public land and these areas tend to be crowded during the season. Success can be found on public land but hunters should be prepared to work for it.

This area consists of different types of grassy and desert-like open prairie with large basins, creek bottoms and rolling hills that are good for putting on a stalk. There are also private ranch and farm lands that can bring in antelope from the surrounding prairies.

Public access in this unit is not very good. Some county roads and smaller two tracks link up to public parcels of land here. The gas and oil drilling that goes on here gives access to some roads throughout the area. The unit is bordered by Cabin Creek, Mitchell Creek, County Roads 91 and 26 on the north, County Road 66 can be found on the east with Interstate 90 on the south and Wyoming Highway 59 on the west.

Sagebrush and grassland makes up most of the vegetation here, with badlands and some timber in the central portion.

Gillette is the closest town, and has a lot of lodging options. Grocery stores, gas stations and other amenities can be found here as well. Camping is allowed on all public ground for up to 16 days in one location. Hunters can also camp in remote locations.
