Area 82 near North Greybull River in Wyoming is known for its challenging terrain with dense forest cover, which can make navigation and game spotting difficult but rewarding for those who are well-prepared. Hunters appreciate the area's potential for quality elk and mule deer, though they emphasize that success often requires extensive scouting and consideration of seasonal weather patterns that heavily influence animal movements. It's crucial to understand the draw odds, which can be competitive, and to plan well in advance to take full advantage of the hunting season.
