This unit can be found in north-central Wyoming on the west slope of the Bighorn Mountains, east of Lovell.This are consists of lower crop lands progressing into steep canyons and cedars in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains. There is a lot of BLM and state land in the eastern half of the unit. For nonresidents, this area is part of Region R and tags drawn for this area are also valid in: 41, 46, 47, 50, 51, 53.
Mule deer can be found throughout the whole unit. Whitetail are mostly found in lower elevations. They are hard to hunt, but the trophy potential is there in the unit.
