This unit has a lot of of private land with some tracts of state and BLM land. Public land access can be tough. Mature mule deer and whitetails are commonly found here.For nonresidents, this area is part of Region D and tags drawn for this area are valid in: 66, 70, 74, 75, 76, 77, and 88
There are good populations of mule deer in most parts of the area. Bigger bucks can be found in the south of the area, and Whitetails can be seen in all parts of the area. The irrigated and private land in the central portion also have big bucks that hunters harvest regularly.
