At a Glance
This unit is made up of scenic mountains in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, north of the Green River drainage. This is more of a secluded unit and it would be smart to plan for camping within the unit or packing in. Located east of the Jackson area, this unit is quite a distance from most amenities. That being said, there is a healthy number of elk throughout and this is part of the famed grizzly country. Those willing to put in the effort should have no problem finding success in this unit. This is a wilderness free unit, so nonresidents won't find any restrictions here.
This area is rugged and steep with elk found all over. This is a decent-sized area with plenty of drainages to hunt and is a good place for hunters to take branch-antlered bulls.
