At a Glance
Located in the northwest corner of the state this area is made up of scenic mountains in the Shoshone National Forest. Bordered by the South Fork of the Shoshone River on the north, this unit contains a lot of public land and includes some designated wilderness.
This is a rugged and remote area with most sheep hunting done on horseback. This area is one of the best units in the state and has the potential for a great ram. Rams here are known for having large horn bases. Sheep are scattered throughout the unit. Large population of black bear.
