Established in 1928, and owned and operated by the Heckman family since 1969. Benchmark Wilderness Ranch brings you to the heart of Montana's Big Sky Country. The ranch is now headed by Darwin Heckman, his wife Shellie, and their three sons Bridger, Cade, and Walker. Darwin has been a licensed outfitter for over twenty years and is very knowledgable of the area. We offer a variety of wilderness adventure trips as well as family vacation packages. We specialize in backcountry big game hunting, fishing, and summer pack trips. Our unique surroundings give us access to some of the best wilderness adventures anywhere.
