Mesquite Mountain Outfitters was established in 2017, but the journey of MMO started long ago. Coues Whitetail have been a passion for Dylan and Nick since they began hunting and harvested their first deer at the age of 10 years old. Once they hit 16 they began hunting almost exclusively together in pursuit  of shooting a Coues with their bows. With hundreds of failed stalks and lots of close encounters those experiences are what sparked the desire to push each other towards success. Throughout the years this passion has grown significantly and with countless successful hunts under their belt it became apparent that we needed to pursue this as a business and help create these same memories for other people. Our guides have a combined 30+ years of experience hunting deer in Arizona!

At MMO we believe hunting is more than bringing home an animal. The highs and lows of hunting are both adequate pieces of what makes a great hunt. You will always have to deal with adversity when in the field, but overcoming these obstacles and who you overcome them with makes success that much better. Our goal is to give our clients a great experience along with a great trophy.

Available Hunts

Hunts We Offer In Arizona and Mexico:

Coues Deer: 
Above all other species, Mesquite Mountain Outfitters considers the Coues Deer to be the most challenging and rewarding. Our guides have spent countless hours behind the glass, running trail cameras, and actively hunting these amazing deer. We offer fully guided hunts for the Coues Deerin Arizona and Sonora Mexico.

Black Bear:
Black Bear is one of our favorite animals to watch and lucky enough to have a chance to hunt. These hunts take place on public land and are done so either spot and stalk or over water. With proper camera placement and numerous hours scouting, we consistently have success on these hunts archery or rifle with many opportunities for bears daily. Our archery hunts consist of sitting water in the spring to chasing bears in the prickly pears in September. These hunts typically take place over 7 days with 5 days of hunting and two days of travel.

Buffalo:
Come enjoy pursuing these majestic creatures in the Sonoran desert landscape which is one of the only places where you will have a chance to shoot a Buffalo in this unique setting. The heard consists of over 100 buffalo currently and are managed as a free range heard. This once in a lifetime hunt takes place on a beautiful ranch in Sonora, Mexico. Our hunts are generally 5 days 7 including travel days to and from Tucson, Arizona.

These hunts include all the permits needed to get the firearms across the border as well as the proper paperwork to import your trophy back into the US. Travel to and from the ranch is included as well is all food and water for the duration of the hunt.

Javelina:
Javelina hunts are some of the funnest hunts in Arizona especially after wrapping up a long season of hunting other species. These hunts take place in February and are a blast as a group hunt with friends and family! We are confident in our ability to provide you with multiple opportunities while guiding you on these hunts.
