In 1985 Mark & Janis Moss made a trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness in northwest Montana with Bill & Marlene Tidwell , fell in love with the area. A year later they purchased a permit from the US Forest Service for a camp in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. They then formed Salmon Forks Outfitters. They are licensed in the state of Montana under license # 1990 The rest is history!
