South of Arapahoe Ski Area are two peaks reaching up to 14,000 feet and a large population of mountain goats. This is a high recreational use area so hunting is allowed only on weekdays for residents and nonresident rifle tag holders.
9” Billys and 8” nannies have been harvested in the past. 14,000 foot elevations can make this a difficult hunt. This can be a good hunt for goats with horns 8-10”.
