This area is located between Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and Woodland Park. Bighorn sheep rams in this unit are known for their horn growth and ability to keep a good population. Hunters can see and harvest rams that score in the 170” Boone and Crockett range.
This herd is known for the size of rams and the ability to keep numbers high. Recent fires in the area have opened up new sheep country and will bring more sheep onto public ground. Sheep are difficult to hunt due to urban development and city parks located in the southeast end of the unit. This unit is an archery only unit. This unit is physically easy access for a sheep hunt.
