On both sides of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, this unit offers goat hunting in rough terrain. Most of the unit is in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.

With a lot of the unit covered by steep and rugged mountains, this can be a physically challenging hunt. Most goats have horns around 8” in length
