Christian County, located just south of Springfield, features classic Ozark terrain—hilly, wooded, and broken by occasional pasture and bottomland. The steep draws and oak ridges create natural funnels and plenty of bedding opportunities. Hunting here often requires more boot work and patience, but there’s potential for mature deer in the thicker cover and harder-to-reach hollows.
