This huge hunting district makes up the entire Region 6 in the north and north east corners of the state. A wide array of terrain is found within this unit and hunters can usually find what they are after with a little scouting. The southern and western edges of the unit see more mountainous terrain while the remainder is largely open prairie land. Public access can be an issue in some areas and hunters will need to plan accordingly for that.

Overall, bear densities are extremely low in this district and hunters looking to specifically target the species will find much better luck in surrounding units.
