Located in the central part of the state and to the southwest of Lewistown. The district is comprised of a mix of private, BLM, state lands and a small portion of the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The forest portion is covered in old logging roads through thick timber, offering good access for the willing hiker.
Just a standard Montana general district, this area continues to produce average mule deer, whitetail and bull elk. Elk and whitetail deer are abundant as well, but also lack in trophy size.
