This small unit is located in southern Montana and within the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness. This area is very remote and backpack or horseback hunting will be the only real options. Access is great in this unit with a number of high mountain lakes, and their subsequent trails, being found here. Snow storms can hit this country early in the early and can pose the biggest threat to access.

Deer and elk concentrations arent extremely high but the main appeal for this unit will be the remote hunting experience.
