The boundaries for this unit encompass half of the Pilot Range on the Utah border and the small mountains north of Wendover. Elevations rocket from 4,200-10,300 feet above sea level on Pilot Peak and hold mule deer, elk, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep and pronghorn antelope.
Elk hunting is unique because Nevada residents who draw Unit 091 tags and Utah residents who draw Box Elder, Pilot Mountain tags may hunt on both sides of the border. A small number of mule deer inhabit Unit 091.
