The boundaries for this unit encompass the Wood Hills. Most of the land is covered by sagebrush with dense pinyon and juniper trees. This unit is home to mule deer, elk and pronghorn antelope.

Small resident mule deer, antelope and elk populations here and is mainly known for producing decent bulls on rare occasions, but does produce mature mule deer bucks on rare occasions as well.
