Consisting mainly of the Pine Grove Hills east and southeast of Wellington, this unit is a good place for hunters who want to fill a deer or antelope tag but are not concerned with taking a trophy-class animal.
Mule deer here are migratory, but this is one of the few units where hunters are allowed to hunt bucks during the peak of the rut.
