This unit is mostly desert brush and encompasses the Weepah Hills, Montezuma Range, Palmetto Mountains and Lone Mountain. Elevations range from 4,700 feet above sea level to 9,112 feet. Road access is good, but some areas can be reached only by hiking.
There is a small mule deer population in this unit. Antelope populations are also low.
