Desert bighorn sheep are the only big game animals that do well in this unit, which includes the Specter Range and part of the Stripped Hills south of the Nellis Air Force Range. Terrain is typical of southcentral Nevada with desert valleys and moderately steep hills with shale, rocks and vertical cliffs.
Primarily sheep country, this unit has a high population of rams, but provides no antelope hunting and has few mule deer. Hunting for desert bighorns can be a great experience.
