Located in almost the exact center of the state this unit is bordered on the north by the Cheyenne River and on the east by the Missouri River. The unit has a very limited amount of public land available to hunt and only a small handful of walk-in areas for DIY hunters to utilize. Smaller populations of antelope can be found here and finding them on ground you can access or have permission to hunt can be tough.
With very limited public access and lower population densities numbers, there are few hunters headed to this unit without a plan around hunting some private property.
