This unit is in the center of the state and spans the north and south side of Interstate 90. This unit is primarily private ground with very little state land or walk-in access. You need to have permission to hunt private land before planning a hunt here. The terrain of this unit is mostly prairie and marshland with some small creeks scattered throughout. The Bad River cutting across the northwest corner of the unit provides ideal habitat for whitetail as well as some small pockets of mule deer.
With very limited public access there are few hunters headed to this unit without a plan around hunting some private property.
