Located in the northwest corner of the east river region this unit is primarily private ground. That being said, there are a few walk-in areas as well as state owned ground. Most of these opportunities seem to be geared more for upland game and waterfowl than deer hunting so plan accordingly and have a plan in place to hunt private ground.

Because of the walk-in and public land in this particular unit being geared more towards waterfowl, there isn’t much chatter regarding big game hunting.
