Unit BH2 is located on the very western edge against the Wyoming state line. The Black Hills national forest runs down the center spine of the unit creating great habitat for bighorn sheep. Good numbers of bighorn sheep are found in this heavily timbered unit and anyone lucky enough to hold a tag will be in for a great hunt. Although private lands occupy the outer edges of this unit, the interior provides a lot of access and hunters will find little trouble in locating huntable ground.
Sheep populations in this unit are good and those willing to hunt hard, should be able to turn up some great rams. Some areas within the interior of this unit are more rugged and remote than others. Cover ground and utilize the glass.
