This unit is found in northeast Utah and lies along the Wyoming border. Hunters will find a large amount of public ground here although most of the elk habitat for this late hunt lies on the north end where a few large parcels of private are found. Elk will be fairly concentrated this time of the year and will be fairly easy to locate.

The late dates of this season will see elk in the low lying section of this unit near the Wyoming border. Heavy snows will make a large portion of this unit most uninhabitable for elk at this time.
