Area 72, also referred to as West Poison Spider is located in the central part of the state west of Casper. Comprised of high plains desert, this unit contains good amounts of BLM and State lands for the public land hunter. There are good Walk-In Areas that allow hunters to hunt on private land and these may be great options to check into.

This area has decent general access to public land and a high success rate for harvest. This is a large area with enough public land to glass for bucks and find opportunities.
