At a Glance
This area can be found in the northwestern part of the state, southwest of Greybull. Made up of high plains desert, this unit is mixed with private land, BLM land and state land. It is bordered by the Greybull River on the north, the Bighorn River to the east, Wyoming Highway 431 on the south and Wyoming Highway 120 on the west.
There is great general access to public land here, and a high success rate for harvest. This is also a good unit for a DIY hunt with decent trophy potential. Walk in Access areas and the Greybull River HMA could provide more access.
Quick Tips
- Heavy hunting pressure can push antelope into private land
- One or more fluorescent orange exterior garments required for all hunters during rifle season
