This area is located in the west-central part of the state near Dubois. Comprised of high plains desert and forest, this area contains a lot of BLM and State lands along with some National Forest.
This is a high success area and has decent access. There is not a huge population of antelope here, but there are enough antelope to look at and be selective. The Wildlife Management Areas are where most harvest takes place.

- Heavy hunting pressure may cause antelope to seek refuge on large tracts of private land
- Bring a fishing pole for the Wind River and tributaries
- Cell phone service is spotty throughout the area
