Wyoming deer area 127 is located to the north of Thermopolis. This deer area is located in some of the most scenic western country found anywhere. Hunters may be interested in soaking in the natural hot pools found in Thermopolis. This general tag allows hunters to pursue both mule deer and whitetails with quality potential for both species being excellent. Private land will often produce a higher quality experience, but access to private lands may be difficult to obtain. Whitetails will occupy the low river and creek bottom lands, while the mule deer range throughout the entire hunting area.
