Area 135 - West Green River in Wyoming offers a challenging but rewarding hunting experience due to its diverse terrain and elevation changes, favoring experienced hunters with good physical conditioning. This is the largest unit found within the nonresident deer Region G, and located on the west edge of the state along the Wyoming/Idaho border. Cokeville can be found in the middle part of the area with Kemmerer in the south. Most of this area is low elevation winter range and is a good place to look for deer late in the season, or if there are early storms in the high elevations.For nonresidents, this area is part of Region G and tags drawn for this area are also valid in: 143, 144, 145
Most of this area is winter range and deer from neighboring areas will migrate onto this unit to winter. There are a few rugged areas that help hunters get away from crowds. This can be a good hunt if there are early season snowstorms in the high elevations. This is a migration area for a lot of deer.
