This unit is located in west-central Wyoming and encompasses a large portion of the Wind River Reservation. Public hunting opportunities are extremely limited here and most hunters will really struggle without private access.

Only non-indian-owned private land or land within the Bureau of Reclamation's Riverton and Boysen Unit boundaries, or Boysen State Park are open for hunting. This can be a hard unit to hunt without permission to access private land.
