The area has a mix of public and private lands as well as the Kirk Inberg/Kevin Roy Wildlife Habitat Management Area and the Spence/Moriarity Wildlife Habitat Management Area.
This small herd of sheep is concentrated along the Wind River, at the confluence of the East Fork of the Wind River. Sheep spend time in the local badlands as well as agriculture fields along the river. Rams may also be found at the northern end of the area where it adjoins the Shoshone National Forest. Hunters with this tag may also hunt Area 5 beginning October 1st.
