This unit, better known as the Gros Ventre, is in the northwest portion of Wyoming, east of Jackson. Unfortunately for nonresidents, the majority of this unit is designated as a Wilderness Area. Hunters take low numbers of wolves here annually and hunters will generally find better options when looking into surrounding areas.

A low density of wolves are found within this unit and hunters looking to specifically target the species will find better options in adjacent units. Nonresident hunters will want to pay close attention to wilderness boundaries.
