Disclaimer - We are not professional chefs, but we love cooking. So our goal with these is to showcase not only our favorite ways to cook wild game but these are also going to be recipes that are easy to make and with ingredients that are readily available.
There are hundreds of ways to make tacos, but today we are making one of my favorite ways to make wild game tacos. This recipe is definitely a family favorite around my house.
Add half a stick of butter into your pan and let it melt. Add your diced onion and can of green chilis. Once they have cooked down and are tender, add your ground meat. Cook until the meat is all browned. At the same time, start warming up your beans in a small pot.
Once the meat is nice and browned, add your package of taco seasoning. Mix thoroughly.
Start frying up your tortillas on a flat skillet or wide enough pan. Add butter and coat the tortilla in butter. Cook until a light golden brown.
Time to build your tacos and enjoy! Top with tomato, avocado, cheese, cilantro, sour cream (if you have it), hot sauce or anything else you'd like to add on there.
We hope you are enjoying our new Wild Game Friday Series! If you have any suggestions on what we should make next, be sure to let us know in the comments below.
