Huckleberry Range runs north to south in the middle of the unit, and contains three small tracts of state land. Dunn Mountain is located in the very middle of the unit. Colville Valley and Pleasant Valley border east and west sides respectfully. As most of Huckleberry is private land, you will need to do your homework and carry a GPS if you are a DIY public land hunter. Here and there, you will also find small BLM or state sections with decent access.

Plat maps will be helpful in identifying land ownership and asking for permission to hunt.
