West Bar is a very small unit near Crescent Bar on the Columbia River and has extremely open, brushy country. The southwestern border is a sharp bluff dropping 800-ft in 300-yards and represents the only structure in the unit. The unit is almost entirely public land and consists of the Colockum Wildlife Area and the Colockum Game Range.

Elk and deer numbers are both low, with the exception of heavy snow years pushing deer all the way to the river.
